ZPHS Quilashapur Observes "Swachadanam-Pachadanam" with Enthusiastic Participation

August 5, 2024 ZPHS Quilashapur:

In alignment with the Government of Telangana’s state-wide initiative, "Swachadanam-Pachadanam," the staff and students of ZPHS Quilashapur, led by headmaster Dr. Bharatha Ravinder, actively participated in a rally on August 5th to promote cleanliness and environmental awareness in the village. This campaign, observed from August 5 to August 9, 2024, aimed to enhance rural and urban sanitation, cleanliness, and greenery, contributing to the Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen.

The rally saw enthusiastic participation from village secretary Jyothi, Anganwadi instructors, Gram Panchayat workers, and all students and teachers of ZPHS. Students marched through the village, chanting slogans that emphasized the importance of cleanliness and greenery, encouraging villagers to adopt sustainable practices. At key locations like the Gram Panchayat office and the village center, students and participants formed a manava haram (human chain), symbolizing unity in their effort to create a cleaner and greener environment.

The "Swachadanam-Pachadanam" initiative, spearheaded by the Government of Telangana, has a detailed schedule that focuses on specific themes each day:

Day-Wise Schedule:

• Day 1 (August 5): Inaugural rally to raise awareness on cleanliness and greenery, with the formation of a human chain in key village locations.
• Day 2: Village cleaning drives by students and teachers.
• Day 3: Workshops on personal hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Day 4: Tree plantation and sapling distribution across the village.
• Day 5: Review, celebrations, and competitions on cleanliness and environmental themes.
