3rd PTA Meeting

ZPHS Quilashapur Conducts 3rd PTA Meeting
19th October 2024, Quilashapur

The third Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) meeting was held today at ZPHS Quilashapur, presided over by Headmaster Dr. Bharatha Ravinder. Around 15 parents actively participated in the meeting, expressing their satisfaction with the teachers' efforts and the quality of education being provided.

Teachers emphasized the importance of regular attendance and urged parents to send their children to school consistently. They also requested parents to create a conducive study environment at home. To boost participation, the teachers encouraged each parent present to bring along another parent to the next meeting, aiming to increase attendance.

In his address, Dr. Bharatha Ravinder praised the donors who contributed computers, an inverter, and book bureaus to the school library. He urged students to take full advantage of these resources to enhance their learning.

A significant decision was made during the meeting: teachers resolved to visit the homes of irregular students to understand their family situations better and persuade them to attend school regularly. This step reflects the school’s commitment to ensuring no student is left behind in their education.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with teachers and parents expressing hope for better attendance and academic progress in the coming months.

Bathukamma Festival Celebrated at ZPHS Quilashapur

On October 1, 2024, students and teachers of ZPHS Quilashapur came together to celebrate the vibrant Bathukamma festival, known as the festival of flowers. Children from all classes participated by preparing beautifully crafted Bathukammas using a variety of locally available flowers. The 9th class students made a large and attractive Bathukamma that garnered much attention.

Headmaster Dr. Bharatha Ravinder led the celebrations, guiding the children as they brought their Bathukammas to the central area where they were arranged in a circle. Following the setup, students, along with male and female teachers, enthusiastically danced around the Bathukammas to traditional Bathukamma songs, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The festival, which is observed over nine days across Telangana, was a grand success at the school. Headmaster Dr. Ravinder expressed his gratitude to the students and teachers for their efforts in making the event memorable.
