ZPHS Quilashapur Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Enthusiasm

Quilashapur, 15th August 2024: The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at ZPHS Quilashapur. The event was particularly special as many of the teachers, including the newly appointed headmaster, Dr. Bharatha Ravindar, were experiencing their first Independence Day at the school. Their active participation added to the excitement of the celebration.

The day began at 7:45 a.m. with a patriotic rally, where both students and teachers marched through the village, spreading the spirit of independence. The rally made significant stops at key locations, such as the Grama Panchayat, the Primary School, Anganwadi Centers, and the statues of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Babu Jagjivan Ram. At each stop, flag hoisting ceremonies were conducted, with students and staff saluting the national flag.

After the rally, the celebrations continued at the school, where headmaster Dr. Bharatha Ravindar hoisted the national flag. The ceremony was attended by teachers, students, and villagers, all joining in with loud patriotic slogans that filled the air with pride.

The event then moved to a formal meeting presided over by the headmaster. Several students delivered inspiring speeches in English, Telugu, and Hindi, focusing on the significance of Independence Day. The program also featured patriotic songs, traditional dances, and skits, performed with great enthusiasm by the students, which captivated the audience.

A standout moment was when students dressed as Bharat Mata and famous national leaders, reviving the heroes of India's freedom struggle. The creativity and dedication of the students, along with the guidance of their teachers, received heartfelt praise from the headmaster and staff.

The celebrations concluded with the distribution of sweets to all the students, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and renewed patriotism.
